Manila, April 25 -- Solo parents will be able to enjoy free rides at the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) and the Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) on Saturday in celebration of the National Solo Parents' Week.

In an advisory, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said the train rides are for all solo parents in the National Capital Region (NCR).

"The one-day free ride can be availed by solo parents from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. by presenting their solo parent identification cards or SPIC," the DSWD said.

The program is in partnership with the Department of Transportation.
