Manila, May 27 -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of revetment structures along the Gingoog River in Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental, providing stronger flood protection in the area.
According to DPWH Region 10 (Northern Mindanao) Director Lilibeth Aparecio, the flood protection works were carried out by the Misamis Oriental 1st District Engineering Office, with a total funding of PHP190.96 million sourced from the 2024 General Appropriations Act (GAA).
