Manila, April 17 -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) - Cordillera on Thursday said only light vehicles are allowed along Kennon Road.

Kennon Road is one of the three main access roads leading to the country's summer capital Baguio City, the other two are Marcos Highway and Baguio-Bauang Road (Naguilian Road).

This is in anticipation of an influx of travelers visiting Baguio City and other nearby areas for the Holy Week long weekend.

"All national roads and bridges in the region are currently passable," it said in an advisory.

It also advised travelers to plan their trips accordingly.
