Manila, March 4 -- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will start the major rehabilitation and upgrade of Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) late this month.

In an advisory on Tuesday, the DPWH-National Capital Region (NCR) said it is preparing to implement the rehabilitation works by segments, one lane at a time, starting from the EDSA bus lane.

"By end of March 2025, one segment of the rehabilitation will start in the northbound portion from Quezon City/ Caloocan boundary to Monumento," it said.

The DPWH said the southbound portion, which will have 15 segments, will start as soon as funds have been released and the contract is approved.
