Manila, March 25 -- The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Tuesday reiterated its call for a dialogue with transport group Manibela on the second day of the latter's three-day transport strike.
In a statement, the DOTr invited Manibela to a "constructive and open" dialogue with the department and its attached agency, particularly on their concerns about the Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP).
"The DOTr assures that the agency is open to suggestions to study how to improve or how to make the PTMP more inclusive, not only for commuters but also for operators and drivers," the DOTr said in Filipino.
