Manila, May 19 -- Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon on Monday said the crackdown against rogue drivers and public utility vehicle (PUV) operators will continue.
Violators will be meted out swift suspensions, Dizon assured.
In a statement on Monday, he said two show cause orders (SCO) were recently issued to owners of vehicles involved in road crash in Quezon and Cavite provinces.
"This swift action follows President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directives to ensure enhanced road safety measures for motorists and passengers," he said.
He said the licenses of rouge drivers and PUV operators will be automatically suspended pending an investigation.
