MANILA, Feb. 20 -- The Department of Transportation (DOTr) assured the country's continued compliance with international aviation standards towards better travel experience and cost-effective cargo transport.

During the opening of the Philippine pavilion at the Singapore Airshow on Tuesday, Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista said international aviation standards ensure efficient operations and highlight the demand for more aviation training in the country.

"I therefore invite aviation schools as well as air cargo integrators to consider locating in our strategically located and fully supported air hubs to take advantage of our economy's sharp growth trajectory," Bautista said.
