MANILA, July 19 -- Tourists traveling around Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan) are urged to prioritize their safety amid continued weather disturbances.

The Department of Tourism (DOT) 4-B (Mimaropa), in an advisory on Saturday, said the southwest monsoon is expected to bring strong to gale-force gusts in some parts of Luzon, including Mimaropa.

"The Department of Tourism - Mimaropa urges all stakeholders and tourists to prioritize safety in light of the impending Tropical Storm Crising. Please take precautionary measures," it said.

Stranded tourists, it said, may coordinate with local tourism offices or their transportation providers for assistance and rebooking of flight and ferry schedules.
