Manila, Nov. 29 -- All local and international travelers in the Philippines are advised to plan accordingly amid the flight disruptions caused by an urgent Airbus software issue that prompted some airlines worldwide to cancel flights.

The Department of Tourism (DOT), in an advisory on Saturday, said concerned government agencies continue to monitor the situation.

It asked tourists to stay updated through the official websites of their airlines and avoid relying on unverified social media posts to prevent misinformation.
