Manila, March 25 -- The Department of Science and Technology in the Cordillera Administrative Region (DOST-CAR) said the Electoral Board (EB) is almost 100 percent ready to serve in the May 12 elections after the members passed the certification process.

"At least 93 percent of the 3,179 who underwent assessment by the DOST have passed the theoretical and practical examination conducted, certifying that they know how to facilitate the computerized election process and can transmit the results of the election," Hansi Dinumla, Senior Science Research Specialist of the DOST-CAR, said during the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas forum at a hotel here Tuesday.
