Manila, June 11 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday warned private security training agencies against using photos or any visual representation of police personnel for their advertisements and promotional materials.

Under memorandum advisory no. 020 dated May 27, 2025, the use of images of uniformed or non-uniformed PNP personnel in flyers, brochures, banners, online posts and other materials is prohibited.

Such activity may mislead the public by creating a false impression of official endorsement or affiliation with the PNP.
