Manila, Jan. 1 -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has resolved labor disputes early and fairly, keeping workplaces productive and peaceful.

In a statement Thursday, it reported that labor cases posted a 98.07 percent disposition rate, benefiting over 109,000 workers and yielding PHP8.34 billion in monetary awards.

Through conciliation and mediation under the Single Entry Approach (SEnA), 82.55 percent of cases were settled amicably.

It noted that workplace conflicts were resolved without disrupting livelihoods and business operations through preventive mediation, voluntary arbitration, and strike-management mechanisms.
