Manila, Dec. 29 -- More than 74,000 applicants were hired on the spot at over 2,000 job fairs conducted nationwide in 2025, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reported on Monday.

DOLE said 74,564 applicants were immediately employed through its job fairs, based on accomplishment data as of November 2025.

A total of 529,158 jobseekers participated in 2,176 job fairs held across the country.

The DOLE news release also reported that 151,316 beneficiaries of the Special Program for Employment of Students received wages amounting to more than PHP686 million.
