Manila, Feb. 28 -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Friday reported that some 10,000 jobs are up for grabs due to high vacancy rate.

Based on data from the agency's Bureau of Local Employment (BLE), the two top job vacancies for the period of Feb. 7 to 13 are for customer service assistants and call center agents

A total of 9,922 vacancies for these posts are available -- 4,961 each for customer service assistants and call center agents.

There are also 3,492 job vacancies for production machine operators.

The BLE said production workers are likewise in demand with 2,707 job openings.

Some 1,000 vacancies for domestic helpers are also available.
