Manila, March 27 -- The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Thursday announced the opening of the seventh DOJ Action Center regional office in Koronadal City to boost its free legal assistance to the public.
The center's opening on Tuesday is in line with the mandate of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s administration to relentlessly uphold the rule of law and make justice accessible to every Filipino, according to a news release from the DOJ.
DOJAC, first established in 1985, has regional offices in Manila, Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, Bicol, Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, and now, Soccsksargen.
Its services include legal counselling, referrals and indorsement to appropriate government offices, and mediation services....
