MANILA, Nov. 28 -- The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Friday said three of the five cases undergoing preliminary investigations have been submitted for resolution, where a panel of prosecutors will decide whether to go to court or shelve them pending additional materials.

The five cases involve alleged anomalous flood control projects in Bulacan undertaken by SYMS Construction and Trading.

"Three out of five cases are now submitted for resolution. The remaining two are scheduled for another hearing on December 5, 2025 pending the further submission of counter-affidavits by the additional respondents," DOJ spokesperson Polo Martinez said in a message to the media.
