Manila, March 11 -- The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday said a total of 62,313 dengue cases have been recorded from Jan. 1 to March 1 this year, 73 percent higher compared to the same period in 2024.
The three regions having the most number of cases are Calabarzon with 12,735 cases; National Capital Region with 11,291; and Central Luzon with 10,185.
However, the case fatality rate this year is lower at 0.35 percent compared to 0.42 percent logged in 2024.
