Manila, Feb. 28 -- The Department of Health (DOH) on Friday reported a decrease in dengue cases at 14,460 from Jan. 26 to Feb. 8.

The figure is 7 percent lower compared to the 15,550 cases recorded from Jan. 15 to Jan. 25.

"Sa kabila nito, mas mataas pa rin ng 64 percent ang naitalang kaso ngayong taon kumpara noong 2024. Umabot na sa 52,008 ang kabuuang bilang mula Jan. 1 hanggang Feb. 22, 2025 (On the other hand, the number of cases recorded from Jan. 1 to Feb. 22, 2025 is 64 percent higher compared to the number of cases recorded for the same period last year.
