Manila, April 4 -- The Department of National Defense (DND), together with the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO), announced Friday the commemoration activities for the 83rd "Araw ng Kagitingan" and 2025 Philippine Veterans Week on April 5 to 11 to celebrate the heroism of the Filipinos troops during World War II.

In a statement, DND Assistant Secretary for Defense Communications Arsenio Andolong invited all Filipinos to take part in the activities that honor the bravery and sacrifice made by the veterans.
