Manila, Jan. 21 -- The 7-year-old son of an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Abu Dhabi has been airlifted to Taiwan to receive specialized treatment for a malignant brain tumor, according to the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
In a social media post Wednesday, Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac said the DMW, together with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), arranged for the air ambulance for Andrey and his family's transport, following a directive from First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.
