Manila, May 21 -- The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) has partnered with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to empower returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in their reintegration into the communities, through science and technology (S&T)-based business development and innovation.
In a news release on Wednesday, the DMW said the initiative, in collaboration with Entrepinoy Volunteers Inc. (EVFI), offers access to business development, innovation guidance, and funding support for OFWs and their families.
EVFI, a non-profit organization, guides Filipino entrepreneurs through the involvement of volunteer experts and executives, to make them globally competitive.
