MANILA, Dec. 3 -- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon has expressed disappointment over the unfinished infrastructure projects in two towns in the province of Surigao del Norte.

During an inspection on Tuesday, the DPWH chief was frustrated to see the unfinished Maasin and Asinan bridges in the municipality of Pilar.

Both structures began construction in 2021 and were declared complete in 2022.

Dizon was also disappointed when he saw that the flood control project in Barangay Tuburan in Del Carmen town was still under construction.

According to a report, the project was at a 95 percent completion rate, but it was learned that only 35 percent of the work had been done.

"What is the reason? Wag ninyo ak...
