Manila, Jan. 6 -- Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon expressed hope that the rehabilitation of other portions of the Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) would proceed smoothly.

This came after the successful implementation of the initial phase of the EDSA rehabilitation project during the holiday season.

In a social media post on Tuesday, the DPWH stated that Dizon inspected the newly constructed EDSA Busway lane from Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City to Orense in Makati City on Monday night, as part of the implementation of Phase 1 of the project.
