MANILA, June 21 -- The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) received two awards from GovMedia 2025, an institution that recognizes outstanding government projects in Asia.

The agency bagged the Digital Transformation of the Year for its eGovDX platform and the E-Governance Project of the Year for the eGovPH Super App at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on Thursday.

"These projects stem from President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s marching order to streamline government services by automating essential processes," Secretary Henry Rhoel Aguda said in a news release over the weekend.
