Manila, March 21 -- The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) welcomed the appointment of Secretary Henry Rhoel Aguda by President Ferdinand R. Marcos on Thursday.
In a statement on Friday, DICT spokesperson, Assistant Secretary for Legal Affairs Renato Paraiso, "fully committed" the DICT's support to Aguda in realizing Marcos' vision of a "secure, inclusive, and progressive Philippines."
"Under (Aguda's) leadership, we reaffirm that digitalization, connectivity, digital inclusion, and cybersecurity will remain central to our national priorities," Paraiso said.
