Manila, Sept. 5 -- Three bilateral agreements are expected to be signed during President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s state visit to Cambodia from Sept. 7 to 9, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Friday.

The deals will cover cooperation on higher education, air services, and the fight against transnational crime and human trafficking.

DFA spokesperson Angelica Escalona said the visit aims to expand economic cooperation-both bilateral and regional-and secure Cambodia's support for the Philippines' chairmanship of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in 2026.
