MANILA, Nov. 28 -- An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) is in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a local hospital, while one is still missing after a deadly fire engulfed a high-rise residential complex in Hong Kong's Tai Po district, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said Thursday night.

In an update, Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Angelica Escalona said both are employed as domestic workers in the Chinese special administrative region.

Meanwhile, there are no confirmed Filipino nationals among the fatalities that have already risen to 65.

Escalona said the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong is in touch with Hong Kong's Police Force, Labour Department and Home Affairs Department to determine the whereabouts of the missing Filipi...
