Manila, April 30 -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) said the delivery of 730 automated counting machines (ACMs) is ongoing in 17 local government units of Antique.
"The delivered ACMs are now being secured by the municipal election officers as they also wait for the official ballots to arrive," Comelec acting Assistant Regional Director and concurrent Antique Provincial Election Supervisor Wil Arceno said in an interview Wednesday.
The island municipality of Caluya was the first to receive 40 ACMs on April 27.
All ACMs shall undergo the final testing and sealing on May 7, ahead of the May 12 midyear polls.
