Davao City, Aug. 1 -- The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) is emphasizing that a five-minute emergency response is crucial for saving lives, highlighting the importance of speed, accuracy, and coordination.
During a demonstration at the Integrated Command Center (ICC) on Thursday, Acting DCPO City Director Col. Mannan Muarip stated that every second counts when responding to a call for assistance.
Muarip demonstrated the city's commitment to quick, coordinated emergency responses via the ICC, which aimed for a five-minute response time in a simulated crisis test. Three carefully crafted scenarios were carried out to demonstrate the ICC's effectiveness: a robbery hold-up, a shooting incident, and a hostage situation.
