Manila, April 2 -- The Police Regional Office-11 (PRO-11) has mobilized 1,982 security personnel across Davao Region's tourist destinations and urban centers as part of a comprehensive summer safety campaign, a police official said Wednesday.

The security deployment includes regular PNP officers, auxiliary forces, and community advocacy groups with assignments spanning religious sites anticipating Holy Week pilgrims, transport hubs handling increased passenger traffic, and commercial districts expecting seasonal shopping surges, according to PRO-11 Director Brig.
