Manila, Feb. 25 -- A weeklong crackdown in Davao Region resulted in the arrest of 106 individuals and the seizure of PHP3.6 million worth of illegal drugs, the Police Regional Office in Davao (PRO-11) reported Tuesday.

Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete, PRO-11 director, said authorities conducted 82 operations from Feb. 17 to 23, confiscating 465.41 grams of shabu valued at PHP3.16 million, 4,112.9 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth PHP494,748, and eight marijuana plants estimated at PHP1,600.

"We have achieved another milestone in this week's relentless campaign against illegal drugs and drug peddlers," Rosete said in a statement.
