Manila, April 25 -- The Davao City government has earmarked PHP124 million for its Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program this year, aiming to provide crucial support to residents facing financial hardships.
In a radio interview with the City Information Office on Friday, Julie Dayaday, head of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), explained that the program offers essential aid to individuals and families in genuine need, encompassing medical assistance, burial support, transportation aid, educational assistance, food provisions, and direct cash relief.
