Manila, March 4 -- Police here confiscated PHP10.7 million worth of illegal drugs in February, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) reported Tuesday.

Col. Hansel Marantan, acting DCPO chief, said 108 anti-drug operations resulted in the arrest of 145 suspects and seizure of 1.51 kg. of shabu and 4.05 kg. of marijuana.

The shabu is worth PHP10.2 million, and the marijuana is worth PHP487,072, police said.

Police also arrested 89 people for illegal gambling and confiscated PHP225,842 in bets.

In addition, police arrested 168 wanted people, including 53 most wanted people.

Operations targeting loose firearms resulted in 13 arrests and the seizure of 17 firearms. Another 13 firearms were surrendered, and 66 were turned in for safekeeping....
