Manila, Feb. 20 -- Davao City's market operations generated PHP134 million in revenue in 2024, the City Economic Enterprises (CEE) said Thursday.

The 2024 revenue was 6.5 percent higher than the 2023 figure of PHP128.1 million.

"The CEE continues to strengthen its market operations initiatives to support economic growth," the agency said.

The CEE oversees eight public markets: Bankerohan, Agdao, Calinan, Mintal, Tibungco, Bunawan, Lasang, and Toril.

The Bankerohan Public Market has consistently been the top-performing market since 2019, with a revenue of PHP60.7 million last year, according to the CEE.

The Agdao Public Market generated PHP35.3 million in revenue.
