BUTUAN CITY, Dec. 17 -- Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) officials distributed 13,903 electronic land titles and granted debt condonations to thousands of farmers in the Caraga Region on Wednesday.

DAR Undersecretary Amihilda Sangcopan and DAR 13 (Caraga) Director Merlita Capinpuyan led the mass distribution in Buenavista, Agusan del Norte. The e-titles cover approximately 20,044 hectares and benefit 10,251 agrarian reform beneficiaries across the region's five provinces.

Capinpuyan also distributed Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (COCROMs) under the New Agrarian Emancipation Act.
