Manila, Feb. 28 -- The crime rate under the watch of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is lower despite the reported kidnapping incidents and compared to figures recorded under the past administration, Malacanang said Friday.
In an interview with dzBB, Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the crime problem in the country is being "sensationalized" because of the videos uploaded on social media.
