MANILA, Nov. 27 -- The Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC) on Thursday ordered the transfer of former Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Leal Guo from the Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory to the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) in Mandaluyong City following her conviction for qualified trafficking.

In a four-page commitment order, Pasig RTC Branch 167 Presiding Judge Annielyn Medes-Cabelis ordered the transfer of Guo, Rachelle Carreon, and Jamielyn Santos Cruz to the Bureau of Corrections-run CIW.

As a standard operating procedure, upon the commitment of Guo and the others at the CIW, they will be received by a designated receiving officer at the Reception and Diagnostic Center (RDC).
