Manila, Sept. 20 -- This city has registered 20 new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) recoveries and zero new cases as of Saturday, the Department of Health in Region 12 (Soccsksargen) reported.
Seven other recoveries -- four from General Santos City, two in Sultan Kudarat, and one in South Cotabato -- were recorded on the same day, according to the same DOH-12 report.
"This is a good indication for Cotabato City. We hope that multiple recoveries would also continue in other areas in the coming days," Arjohn Gangoso, speaking for DOH-12, said.
This came about as 46 new confirmed cases were also reported in three areas of the region on Saturday.
