Manila, Jan. 9 -- Cooler air and partly cloudy skies with light rain showers brought by the northeast monsoon or "amihan' will greet the expected millions of devotees joining the Feast of Black Nazarene in Quiapo for the Traslacion on Friday.
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that a significant portion of the country will continue to experience rains due to three prevailing weather systems.
Scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected across the Bicol Region and Northern Samar due to the shear line.
The rest of Eastern Visayas will likewise experience scattered rains and thunderstorms due to easterlies.
