Manila, May 17 -- Prison officials on Friday reported that the last of four convicts sentenced for the illegal detention of actor Vhong Navarro has been turned over to the Bureau of Correction (BuCor) for incarceration.

In a statement, the BuCor said Ferdinand Guerrero was turned over by the National Bureau of Investigation after his surrender this week.

Guerrero, together with businessman Cedric Lee, mixed martial arts practitioner Simeon Raz, and model Deniece Cornejo were convicted by the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 153 on May 2 for illegal detention for ransom and meted life imprisonment.
