MANILA, Dec. 2 -- All Filipinos who likely worked at the high-rise apartment complex hit by a deadly fire in Tai Po, Hong Kong, are all safe and accounted for, the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong said Tuesday.
"The Consulate General has confirmed that of all the Filipino nationals concerned, 92 are safe and accounted for and one is injured and remains hospitalized," it said in an advisory.
The last two overseas Filipino workers listed for verification were found to be already in the Philippines when the fire broke out, it added.
Earlier, the consulate confirmed that one Filipino domestic worker, identified as Maryan Pascual Estaban, perished from the inferno.
