SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Oct. 23 -- New and deactivated voters from this capital town are encouraged to register to be able to participate in the 2026 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election.

"We encourage the eligible voters, especially those turning 15 years old by Nov. 2, 2026, and those who had been deactivated, to come to the Comelec Office," said San Jose de Buenavista Election Officer III Johnna Catilo in an interview on Thursday.

She said that less than half of some 2,000 deactivated voters from San Jose de Buenavista have reactivated their status during Aug. 1-10,2025 registration.
