Manila, Aug. 12 -- Voters in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Parliamentary Elections (BPE) will be given an opportunity to know more about the Oct. 13 polls.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) set three information campaign activities in the region this month and in September.

"It must be explained to our countrymen, to the 2.3 million voters in Bangsamoro, what exactly are the Parliamentary Elections? Why do we need to vote? Who will we vote for? Why do some members of parliament vote, are there political parties? Why is there a picture, a logo, none of the above?
