Manila, May 10 -- As part of measures to prevent balloting delays, the Commission on Elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Comelec-BARMM) has established seven repair hubs in the region ahead of Monday's elections.
"This is a precautionary measure that would address technical issues during the polls," lawyer Ray Sumalipao, BARMM election director, told reporters here on Saturday.
The repair hubs for automated counting machines (ACMs) are located in Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, Lanao del Sur including Marawi City, Basilan including Lamitan City, Tawi-Tawi, Cotabato City, and the Special Geographic Area in North Cotabato.
