Manila, Jan. 15 -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has set the two-day filing of certificate of candidacy (COC) for the special polls for the Second District of Antipolo City early next month.
The special polls on March 14 will determine the successor of former Rep. Romeo Acop, who died due to heart attack last month.
Under Resolution No. 11185 or the Calendar of Activities for the March 14 special polls, Comelec said candidates seeking to be elected to the post may file their COCs from Feb. 5 to 7 before the local Comelec office in the city.
The election period is set to begin Feb. 12 and will run until March 23.
