Manila, July 1 -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has issued the Certificate of Finality and the Entry of Judgment in the ruling on the petition lifting the suspension of Marcelino "Marcy" Teodoro's proclamation and the reinstatement of his certificate of candidacy (CoC).

With this, the poll body has given the greenlight for his proclamation as the duly-elected congressional representative of the 1st District of Marikina City during the May 2025 polls.

"Now therefore, in view of the foregoing, the resolution of the commission (en banc) promulgated on 25 June 2025 is hereby declared immediately executory under the Comelec Rules of Procedure," it said in the certificate dated July 1.
