Manila, July 3 -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Thursday said it needs the support of the public in evaluating the Statements of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCEs) of winning and losing candidates, party-list organizations and political parties in the May 12, 2025 midterm polls.

According to Comelec Chairperson George Garcia, they need the people's assistance to verify the SOCEs submitted before their Political and Finance Affairs Department.
