Manila, June 26 -- The Palawan-based 3rd Marine Brigade formally commenced its Archipelagic Coastal Defense Continuum (ACDC) 25.3, in line with ongoing efforts to beef up the country's defensive capabilities.

The event's opening ceremonies were held at the unit's headquarters at Marine Base Rodolfo Punsalang in Barangay Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan on June 23, the 3rd Marine Brigade said in a social media post Thursday.
