Manila, Feb. 7 -- Clark International Airport (CRK) has been awarded the Permanent Aerodrome Certificate, strengthening its position as a vital gateway for international and domestic travel in the Philippines.

"This certification is a major milestone for CRK," Noel Manankil, chief executive officer and president of Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (LIPAD), the operator of CRK, said in a statement on Friday.

"Achieving this in under three years shows the dedication of our team and our commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and excellent airport services."

Manankil said the certification affirms CRK's compliance with safety standards.
