Manila, Jan. 27 -- A Chinese suspected to be a member of a notorious "salisi" gang involved in thefts aboard commercial airlines was nabbed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) reported Tuesday.
Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado said Zhou Wei, 52, was intercepted after he attempted to enter the country aboard a Malaysia Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur last Jan. 20.
A report from the BI Advance Passenger Information System Operations Center said their office received an alert showing information about Zhou's movements.
